At the Beach

We made it to Panama City Beach! First vacation as a family. Claire wasn't too sure about the gritty sand at first. She is warming up to it though.

Condo is a great place and so far the food has been wonderful. We learned the hard way that anything dropped from the 3rd floor or higher is a felony in Florida. Claire was enjoying the view and her sippy cup made the journey 15 floors down to the pool deck. Fortunately no one was hurt and the sippy cup made it back in one piece.

A playhouse for our princess!

Leslie and I agreed this would be an early Christmas present for Claire, but really who are we kidding?!

We knew it would end bad to unveil her playhouse at 8pm (thank you daylight savings time), but we wanted to see her reaction and as we predicted we had to tear her away kicking and screaming!

Turning over a new snowflake...

I am trying something new. I want to attempt to blog everyday so that in many years to come, we can have a snapshot into our lives. Of course I am going to start my first day off by showcasing my baby girl! I also wanted to show off one of my best shopping deals. Claire's dress is from the Heartstrings outlet in Edinburgh, IN. I couldn't resist the purple hounds-tooth, nor could I resist the 70% off price tag. I got this beauty for $12.00!!

And who could resist THIS beauty??

Blanket Time

Not sure how, but we have found a new fascination of Claire's. I take it the blanket feels good against her skin!!

Claire in her PJ's

Claire turns 1 Year Old!!

No words can describe our love for our baby girl Claire Margaret Peacock. We lay in bed the night of the 22nd and Leslie leans over and asks,

"Know where we were this time last year?" Sadly she had to tell me.

We were being admitted at the hospital to induce labor.

Hard to believe it has been a year already. Thank you to all who came to Claire's birthday party and for the generous gifts. We are pretty sure she played with them all at least once that same night we came home.

Claire can't wait for warmer weather to try out her new red wagon from Aunt Lindsey! Claire was testing out the sturdiness before the sides went on. I tried explaining that you have to read all directions before beginning to put the pieces together. Her impatience got the best of her.

Merry Christmas!

It was a wonderful Christmas at the Peacock house. Claire enjoyed sitting on the packages more than opening them. She came around when she saw all the new toys she could enjoy.
