The life...

Claire fell asleep between Culver's and the Wal-Mart parking lot. Hmmmmm...what to do? She slept in the cart for 40 minutes and woke up with food all around her! I got a good deal of her!

Shopping Adventure

So...Claire has been transitioned to a big-girl carseat. Yep, she hit the mark where so was too big for her carrier, so we bought one of those convertible carseats that can be rear and front facing. Along with that means that we can't just pop her into the shopping cart in her carrier. Thus, our first big shopping cart adventure began. She thought she was hot stuff riding in the cart all by herself. She even put her arms out and was laughing as the wind was blowing through her hair :) So here is a picture of her waiting at the customer service counter at Wal-Mart.

Side note: Yeah, she might have looked like a boy, and yes, people called her a boy, but she was wearing a nostalgic shirt yesterday! This shirt was her daddy's from when he was a baby. Go Hoosiers!!

Crazy Uncles!

Uncle Mark & Uncle Kyle stopped by on their way to Arizona, by way of Peoria Airport, by way of Indianapolis! Uncle Mark made sure he packed his do-rag for the intense desert heat. He shared it with Claire, as you can see...

As we looked in awe...

Claire has now learned to pull herself up to a standing position. She hasn't tried sittibg down yet. I think she surprised herself...but not as much as she surprised us;). She makes momma and daddy proud!

Crawling, Teething, and Growing...

As you can see Claire is growing up fast. Its hard to imagine how our lives have changed in the past six months, but at the same time it is way too obvious how they have changed. We tried to read as many books as possible, but none would have prepared us for the overwhelming pride and love we have for Claire. We never knew we could smile and laugh so much! See for yourself...
